The publisher of the Átlátszó Vajdaság Portal for Investigative Journalism is Progressive NGO, established in 2017 to pursue cultural objectives. In 2022 it extended its activities to the promotion of culture and information by renewing its statute. According to the new statute, the NGO will promote, among other things, the strengthening of free, independent and impartial media, investigative journalism and quality information in the public interest, as well as the promotion of dialogue in society by fighting corruption and opacity.
